eTec design and manufacture Spherical Valve for Turbine Inlet duty with both resilient and sliding metal to metal sealing system supplied with upstream and downstream seals. The service can be single acting or double acting to minimise seal resonance and Maintenance seal double acting with hydraulic lock feature Sliding seals provided with ‘D ‘ seal design to reduce the metal to metal contact and improved seal operation.
Valves designed specifically for Hydro Power application.
Operation is via a single or double acting hydraulic cylinder closed by means of specifically designed counterweight.
Materials are individually supplied to meet customer specific requirements Valves body’s are split for assembly of reinforced rotor having integrally attached shafts or where design limitations arise the shafts are bolted and spigotted to the rotor.
Operation preferably is via hydraulic oil, or alternatively penstock water pressure Valve supplied with locking device to prevent rotation during maintenance period.
