Four way Valve

eTec Four way flow reversing valves are four ported valves designed for installation in condenser systems. The valve provides a method of reversing the cooling water flow to remove weed and marine growth. Each valve has an inlet and outlet port to the condenser and a pair of transfer ports for reversing the flow to prevent condenser tube fouling
Operating in an intermediate position, the valve can be used for condenser flow regulation, thus eliminating a need for a separate throttling valve in the cooling water circuit.
The Four way valve is an extension of the Butterfly design incorporating an elliptical shaped disc which is alternately positioned to direct the cooling water from the normal inlet side of the condenser to the outlet side, thus reversing the flow.
A rubber seal around the periphery of the disc seals against a seat ring running around the inside of the valve body and operated by either a manual gearbox or electrical actuator.
Each Four way valve is engineered to meet customer’s unique operating conditions, including material selection.
Fabricated, cast or combination of cast and fabricated designs are available internal parts manufactured to suit the operating condition and wetted corrosive areas protected with coating such as epoxy paint glass flake or ebonite.
